Emirates, Etihad and UAE airlines instructions for Egypt Travel

The political instability that started last Tuesday, in Egypt has left hundreds dead and thousands wounded. Many countries have issued their highest travel alerts however, according to local media reports in UAE, flights to Egypt by top and leading UAE carriers including Etihad Airways, Emirates Airline and FlyDubai the flights will be operated according to schedule, following another night of anti-government protests in the country.

The Abu Dhabi based carrier, Etihad Airways has stated that it has no plans to run further supplementary flights to Cairo. The carrier added that its flight schedule to Cairo and Alexandra will not be affected by the current political crises in Egypt.

Another prominent UAE airline, Emirates has advised its passengers to reconsider non essential travel to Egypt. The flights of Flybe for tomorrow are announced to be operating as scheduled.

However, Etihad airways flight number EY651 due at 01:20 am has been cancelled today in the morning, before the airline’s declaration to operate today’s schedule completely.

Flybe does not have any flights for today and Emirates as well as Etihad have advised their customers to check their flights schedule prior coming to airport.
