Qatar Airways to increase Fuel Surcharge

The Middle East airline, Qatar Airways has recently announced an increase in its Fuel Surcharge. The Doha based carrier that is also the world’s first airline to be ranked five star is a prominent flight provider in Europe and preferred carrier for flights to Johannesburg, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Kenya, Cape Town, Doha, Seychelles, Male, and many other international destinations.

The airline stated in its recent notification that Itineraries quoted via CAT35 are correct, so fuel surcharges would have been correct at time of ticketing on or after 21st of January 2011. Further, it updated that the provided ISC destinations is £54 one way and not £53.

The updated list stated that from UK to Qatar YQ per One way is now 49 instead of 46 GBP. from UK to Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Syrian Arab Republic,  Egypt, Lebanon and Pakistan new YQ per one way travel is 50 instead of 47.

Whereas, form UK to India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal it is 54 GBP instead of 51 while from UK to Far East, Kenya, Nigeria, Seychelles, Sudan and South Africa its 60 GBP instead of 57.

Lastly the new YQ per one way for Australian destinations is now 99 instead of 94 GBP in the revised surcharges.
