Africa Special Fares – The UK only KLM-Air France Sale
Further to our last article about AF-KLM special fares to worldwide destinations, here we are including detailed information about the Africa fares. Let it be business or leisure, since Africa is the most traveled and toured continent in the world, KLM and Air France special fares are generously discounted for the most ‘in demand’ African cities from the UK.
The first in the list of Africa flight fares is Entebbe, the capital city of Uganda. The airlines offer a lowest fare of 155 GBP approx (excl. airport tax and S.C.). The travelling season remains same for all African destinations that is from June 01 to June 30, 2011. The last date to book also remains 28th February, 2011 in any case.
Moving on, the next African destination in AF-KLM Sale Gala is South Africa, the travel capital of the world. Flights to Johannesburg, O R Tambo airport start from around 160 GBP approx (excl. tax and S.C.) during the above stated travel and booking period. Next on the shelf is Kigali, the capital of Rwanda for which AF-KLM offers approx 185 GBP (excl. tax and S.C.).
Flights to Lagos, the capital of Nigeria start from as low as 115 GBP (excl. taxes and S.C.) for the travel season 01 June to 30 June, 2011. Lagos is also a hot destination and KLM-AF is the most preferred airline among Nigerian community by dint of the superb standard of service and quality operations offered by the airline.
Yet, these are only the starters; next big thing is flights to Nairobi the capital of Kenya. This destination is also served by the national flag carrier of Kenya, Kenya Airways that offers nonstop flights to Nairobi and is also a code share carrier of KLM and Air France. However, let us clarify that the airline particularly states in its fare list that Kenya Airways (KQ) direct flight service to Nairobi is not permitted. The flight fare of 150 GBP (excl. tax and S.C.) is only applicable on KLM flights via Amsterdam. Another feather in the cap is flights to Tripoli, the Libyan capital which is also a gateway to many neighboring landlocked countries in Africa. The fares on this route start from as low as 30 GBP excl. tax and S.C. only.
For the above mentioned destinations there is nil add on in case of departures from Birmingham, Edinburg, Glasgow, London City Airport, London Heathrow Airport, Liverpool airport, Manchester Airport and New Castle airport. Whereas, add on fare between 30 to 40 GBP excl. tax (return) is applicable when departing from Aberdeen, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, Darlington, Humberside and Norwich International Airport.
Flights to Accra, the capital of Ghana start from 81 GBP excl. taxes and S.C. and flights to Abuja, the carnival city of Nigeria start from 190 GBP excl. taxes and S.C. The departure / return season is 01 June to 30 June and booking is permitted until 28 February, 2011. However the only difference is that these two destinations can only be booked with Heathrow departure.
Stopovers are not permitted. The minimum stay requirement is Sunday and maximum 1 month.
