Royal Brunei Airline Q Surcharge Amended

The Royal Brunei Airlines has recently released its revised Annual Market Fare Levels in Business and Economy Class. These are only effective for sale from 01 March 2011 and the specified travel season is specified until 30 June 2012.

The airline also states that as the last Annual Year Round fare list expires on 28 February 2011, the fares in the new Annual Market Fares have changed considerably. For the reason, all sales and ticketing on the current contracts should be completed on or before 28 February 2011 or by the current TTL’s, whichever is the earliest.

Further, the carrier specifies that ADM’s will be issued to Travel Agents issuing tickets from the current contracts after 01 March 2011. Hence, no earlier fares should be applied after the stated deadline.

The Royal Brunei Airlines also listed its main Changes in the recent document such as, changes to fares levels and changes to seasons. The carrier’s specified Q Surcharge (please inquire for details) for Economy Class is GBP40 per ticketed sector and for Business Class, it is GBP80 per ticketed sector. Such as London Heathrow to Brunei Bandar Seri Begawan = £40, flights to Dubai via Brunei Bandar Seri Begawan = £40 + £40 = £80 and flights to Australia and New Zealand via Brunei Bandar Seri Begawan = £40 + £40 = £80.
