Melbourne is the capital of the state of Victoria in Australia. It is the most populous city of the state and the second most populous in Australia after Sydney. This city is internationally famous for being home to Melbourne Cricket Ground. This cricket stadium is the tenth largest stadium in the world and has the record highest light towers at any sports venue. This cricket ground has hosted many international sports events including the Summer Olympics and Common Wealth Games and is a famous cricket venue. This art gallery and Museum is the oldest and the largest in Australia, founded in 1861. This art gallery has two branches; the main branch is located in St. Kilda Road, Melbourne Arts Precinct of Southbank. The second branch of this gallery is located at Federation Square. This gallery holds more than 65,000 pieces of art including art pieces by local and international artists.
