Air India Fleet, AI 116, to be Terminated from May 28, 2011
Air India’s, AI 116 will be terminated for any further operations from today onwards i.e. May 28, 2011. It will complete its last journey at Delhi. The passengers who were already booked on a further connection with the same plane can be switched to another carrier. Passengers are requested to contact the Air India ticketing office for ticket reissuance or their travel agent to assist them further with the situation.

The airline is to provide a full refund to the passengers who were ticketed on the cancelled flight to Amritsar, Katmandu or to any other destinations with a stopover of at least 6 hours at Delhi. However the passengers traveling to Delhi only are not entitled for full refund as they will be accommodated on another carrier i.e. AI 112.
