Emirates Airline has pop-up again with yet another offer for its passengers and added another destination into its network and mounting it frequently. Emirates has started flights for one of most famous and historical city which is popular as the second largest city of Arab having estimated population of 1,200,000 people.

Emirates will operate flights to Baghdad four times a week with Airbus-330 configuration and it is the fifth international destination to launch in 2011 with Basra and Geneva already operational; Copenhagen to follow on 1st August and St Petersburg to follow on 1st November.

“Baghdad is a strategically important destination for Emirates,” commented by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group.

Emirates official also acknowledges that flights to Basra, Iraq was resounding success as thousand of passenger have flown with Emirates after February 2011.
