The new promotional airfares with American Airlines unveiled only this Wednesday will boost tourism between New York City and Chicago, like never before.

According to the reports, both the New York City and Chicago tourism officials have collaborated with American Airlines in making this amazing low fare offer possible. In this offer, one way fares between the two cities will start from 89 dollars however, the purchase of tickets will only remain open till the end of October 22^nd. Tickets can be reserved for travelling period between 05 January 2011 to 25 February 2011 with embargoes applicable on Jan 15 to 17 and Feb 18 to 21^st.

The promotional period provides a great opportunity for travelers to benefit from cheap flights to New York or Chicago USA along with chances to attend various New York events at discounted tickets. The events include, first-ever Broadway Week including more than 40 Broadway’s hottest shows, the upcoming NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2011 and Off-Broadway promotion "On the House" theater. Also, topping it all up, more than 80 of the City’s top hotels will offer up to 35 percent off their best available rate from January 2 to February 28 when travelers book between October 15 and November 2.
