British Airways Flight Network Expands Further With New Flights To Chambery
The new flight route of British Airways is a great opportunity for those planning to visit the French Alps as the airline will be operating flights from London City Airport to Chambery Airport, Savoie France.
The new route starting in winters is provided by British Airways wholly owned subsidiary BA City Flyer. BA city Flyer will service four times a week flights to Chambery from December 18 until the end of March 2011 (seasonal route). The flights departures from London City Airport are scheduled for Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. While, the return flights from Chambery will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. British Airways will be using brand new Embraer 190 aircraft on this route.
BA City Flyer Commercial Manager, Luke Hayhoe, stated at this occasion:
Our schedule is ideally set up to give our customers the opportunity to spend a long weekend, a full week, or even longer, skiing on some of the world’s best slopes and resorts.
He further added:
Only a few short hours after taking off from London’s Docklands, our customers can be in a winter wonderland of 120 ski resorts, all set amidst the majesty and splendor of the French and Swiss Alps.
Chambery is a popular holiday and ski destination in France, visited by a great number of tourists every season.
