The airline’s logo is Horus, the sky deity in ancient Egyptian mythology, usually depicted as a falcon or a man with the head of a falcon. The airline has taken Horus as its logo because of its ancient symbolism as a "winged god of the sun". The airline has recently announced flights to new destinations in Europe, America and Africa that includes, flights to Copenhagen Airport (Denmark) started very recently in October 2010. While other new routes launched this year include flights to Juba Airport (Sudan), operated via Khartoum. Also, the airlines flights to Lusaka Airport in Zambia are planned to take start from 16 January 2011. These flights will operate via Dar es Salaam.
