British Airways has reported that its passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers, decreased 4.3% to 8.34 billion in November 2009, compared to 8.71 billion in the same month of 2008. The airline’s passenger capacity, measured in available seat kilometers, decreased 6.2% to 10.99 billion, compared to 11.71 billion in November 2008. Total passenger load factor for the month of November 2009 was 75.9%, compared to 74.4% for the same month of 2008. Cargo, measured in cargo ton kilometers, increased 2.4% to 412 million in November 2009, compared to 402 million in the corresponding period of 2008.
